Ten Discussions on Art History

Is “art history” a problem?
With the formation of modern society, art history, as a new branch of the humanities, has emerged and matured in recent human history. However, in the eyes of renowned art historian Wu Hung, this widely respected and increasingly important discipline remains a young one, and its relevant discussions are far from being fully developed.
In his column "Art Across the Horizons" in the magazine "Reading", Wu Hung published ten articles, summarizing his personal views on why art history has become a problem, how to expand its thinking path, the magnificent contemporary humanistic scene in which this problem is located, etc.
