It tells the story of how, during the tumultuous years of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, my father was away fighting, and my mother and I lived in this small southern town. The most vivid memory I have is of my mother, after school each day, holding a paper umbrella, quietly waiting for me at the alley entrance… However, the war reached my hometown, and my mother, relatives, and I were forced to flee south. On the way, my mother fell ill. She told me to take her paper umbrella and continue south with our relatives, and I tearfully bid her farewell…

Based on a true story, it's a tale of the most beautiful mother in my memory, a story that explores the deep love between a mother and child through the lens of war, a story that teaches children about beauty and love, and a piece of history that people of any era should never forget.
