"Bear Dreams Butterfly, Butterfly Dreams Bear" was created by the Taiwanese children's publishing legend Hao Guangcai and illustrated by Russian artist Oleg. The book was previously published in simplified Chinese in mainland China and was recommended by the Ministry of Education. This book is actually two interconnected stories that need to be read from both ends. The front is the "Bear Dreams Butterfly" section, and then if you turn it around, the back is the "Butterfly Dreams Bear" section. Some readers refer to this layout as "two-headed embrace." An accompanying audiobook in CD format is performed by Wu Lei and Huang Lei, voice actors from Shanghai Film Dubbing Studio.
