Through his lens, Michio Hoshino captured the unparalleled beauty of nature and the fragility and resilience of life. He documented the polar landscapes, animals, and people with pure passion. His writing is as simple and warm as his images, making each of his journeys a touching "spiritual journey." Michio Hoshino once said, "When my life draws to a close, I hope it ends in Alaska." He dedicated the most youthful years of his life to this far north, and it became his final resting place.
