Spring Lantern Prince

The Spring Lantern Master's grand banquet for the luminaries of the underworld is an annual event, held for many years and virtually indistinguishable from any other annual ritual. However, the origins of the organizers remain a mystery, and the location itself resembles a shrouded paradise, lost both in reality and in the memories of those who attended. The only surviving evidence is the twenty surviving poems and lyrics known as "Tipins" (inscriptions)—supposedly written during the climax of the Spring Lantern Banquet: Secretly chosen speakers from among the guests would spend a year crafting their stories, striving to amaze their listeners and earn the Master's approval.
