This is a cleverly conceived picture book, suitable for readers aged 0-99. On the cover, a little boy holds something in his hand – is it a bird? Or a pistol? Turning the pages, each page contains only a sentence, or rather, a short phrase, but when read consecutively, the content develops and progresses through a series of contrasts.
