Learn Shanghainese

Shanghai is an open city. There aren't many "natives" born and raised in Shanghai; the vast majority are "immigrants" who have arrived over the years. If you want to truly integrate into Shanghai, understand the various social strata, become familiar with Shanghai's customs and traditions to seize more business opportunities, and make more Shanghainese friends to better express your nuanced feelings, learning a bit of Shanghainese, especially using some typical Shanghainese witty remarks to highlight the local flavor of the language, is indeed very important! Language is a necessity for communication, and only through communication can you learn it quickly and well. We hope you can listen, learn, and speak more on buses, in shops, at entertainment venues, and wherever Shanghainese people are speaking Shanghainese.
