Go to parks and the wild

The 30th issue of "Single Reading", which was born in the spring of 2022, collects articles with "Nature" as the theme, calling on everyone to go to parks and the wild, bid farewell to the cramped life, and feel the leisure or joy: go to the national park to watch birds, go to the primitive mountains and forests to observe leeches, go to the Summer Palace to find willow tree No. 0001, go to the Jiangnan countryside to learn about wild rice and wild rice, and go hiking on the Kumano Kodo in Japan... This journey close to nature will awaken our almost dormant curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and enter the moment of surprise of "so that's it"; return to the dimension of nature to understand people, and find new ways for people and nature to get along.

This collection, "Single Reading," attempts to find some escape route in these difficult and perilous times. In today's world of "disappearing words," starting with visits to parks and the outdoors, we immerse ourselves in magnificent landscapes, enduring and stable laws, and boundless knowledge, to forget our narrow selves, transcend the game of win-lose, and rediscover the genuine bonds of friendship we once held.
