The essence of decision-making

The author, Graham Allison (1940-?), is Dean and Professor at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government; Philip Zelikow (1954-?), Professor at the University of Virginia, is a diplomat. This book examines key events during the Cold War from a unique perspective and is a classic work in international relations, public administration, and decision-making, as well as one of the most influential political science books published after World War II. In the second edition of this book, the authors recount the Cuban Missile Crisis from beginning to end, utilizing declassified U.S. and Soviet archives and documents to extract three decision-making models, vividly demonstrating the decision-making process under pressure, and providing a theoretical reference for the public to understand state and government behavior.
