The book cleverly utilizes the characteristics of an ice book, with the penguin's home gradually disappearing as the pages melt, vividly demonstrating the threat global warming poses to the ecological environment. This book is more than just a children's book; it is a profound exploration of home and the meaning of life.
How remarkable is this book? Its creative ideas won the 2017 Bronze Lion for Entertainment at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the advertising industry's Oscars. It also won the Gold Award at the 2018 Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, becoming the first of four gold awards won in China. Even before its publication, it has already sparked a wave of creative integration in the global children's book publishing industry.
This book is the world's first "disappearing" thermochromatic children's picture book. Through a unique experiential approach, it allows children aged 3 to 10 to deeply understand the devastation global warming is wreaking on animals in the Arctic and Antarctic.
