This album feels like a musical adventure brought on by the pandemic. The album's ideas were formed by the members' street photos and inspiration from walks. Gathering in parks, strolling the streets, capturing fun street scenes and documentary photos. These moments make each day feel fresh, like sparks of light, connecting lines of joy—and of course, sparking inspiration for language.
——The sun always shines on them. Let them keep their childlike imagination, but they don’t have to be childish.

Little Tiger:

In recent years, I've felt the communicative and healing power of music more than ever before, and I've discovered that many of my friends share my sentiments.
It all started with our last album, “Heart Healing Frequency”. At that time, the epidemic had just begun to rage and people were cut off from each other. In those peaceful ambient music and folk tunes, we began to reveal our true feelings. On the spot, we read poems and told stories. The lights flickered until the sunset appeared on the sea and someone cried.
"Human, where is the bottom of your abyss? No one can fathom it, so I'm helpless..."
In "Heart Healing Frequency", we sang about women. What happened in Tangshan this year shocked the world. In the prelude to joy after sorrow, we talked about some restaurants and shops closing down forever, and some people leaving and never coming back... Who would have thought that the words hit the mark. I was under "static management" and stayed at home in Shanghai for two whole months, and friends from all over the country were suddenly "isolated" for longer or shorter periods of time.
Only after loss do we realize how much we long for something, and so the theme of this new album emerged: "To Love, To Cry, To Doubt." During the recording process, the three of us were separated in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, unable to see each other. Even the microphone and sound card for recording were something I waited for despite delays in shipping, praying for their safety.
Fortunately, during a short week in March, the three of us got together in Dali, where we chatted, played frisbee, basked in the sun, watched movies, climbed mountains, and walked around the sea... Every morning, we would gather on the transparent glass rooftop and write together under the clouds. This album was created in such a scene.
In "Heart Healing Frequency", we each express ourselves in paragraphs, relying on tacit understanding and coincidence to piece together the puzzle; in this new album, Zhou Shijue and I started talking, interspersing, cooperating, and breathing in the rhythm together, just like we invite you in the lyrics to take a walk together, adjust your mindset, reflect on being a man, love, cry, and doubt, and then, let us just laugh it off.
Ye Fu still recreates the beautiful sounds of those dusty old records. Quiet and reserved, he incorporates vocal samples into every track, allowing your ears to experience the company of people. The addition of ChaCha, Xichenchen, Fishdoll, and Shi Xinwenyue adds a touch of tenderness and imagination. Good friend and stand-up comedian Tong Mo Nan also performs a live set, bringing laughter from the audience.
This time, music is still our way of showing our care for you.
