"Poems of Huang Canran" is part of the "Blue Star Poetry Collection - Collector's Edition" series. This collection includes over 200 representative and highly regarded works by the author from various key creative periods since the 1990s. This reprint has been updated and re-edited by a third of the original, enriching and enhancing the collection. Through these works, created over the past three decades, one can clearly discern the poet's evolving creative process, from various stages to detailed developments, revealing the evolution of his overall style, poetic elements, and imaginative direction to his philosophical scope, outlook on life, and worldview.

Founded in 1998, the "Blue Star Poetry" series is a flagship book brand of People's Literature Publishing House, dedicated to highlighting the achievements and vast possibilities of contemporary Chinese poetry. "Blue Star" is derived from the astronomical concept of "blue giant," an active phase in stellar evolution. The series features inspiring, creative, and influential poets and their representative works from various periods of Chinese poetry since the 1960s. To commemorate the series' 25th anniversary, Renwen Publishing House is launching the "Blue Star Poetry Collection Collector's Edition," a compilation and revision of previously published poetry collections while continuing to present masterpieces of contemporary poetry.
