About Book
About Book
"The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic," or "Neijing" for short, is the earliest surviving medical classic in China. It consists of two parts, "Suwen" and "Lingshu," each with eighteen volumes and eighty-one chapters. The book is presented in the form of a dialogue between the Yellow Emperor and Qibo, summarizing the long-term medical practices of ancient physicians under the guidance of ancient philosophical thought. It comprehensively elucidates the fundamental content of the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine, reflecting its theoretical principles and academic ideas. The establishment of this theoretical system laid the foundation for the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Famous physicians and medical schools in the history of traditional Chinese medicine all developed on the basis of the "Neijing" theoretical system, hence the "Neijing" is considered the progenitor of medical classics.
This book features an authoritative edition, concise annotations, clear translation, and an elegant hardcover binding, making it an essential book for those who love traditional Chinese culture.
