Following "Bright Moments," this is the second collection of works by "Single Reading" focused on female writing, featuring a collection of critical commentary, fiction, as well as films, essays, and poetry. These diverse works reflect on the pioneering work of Chantal Akerman, Eileen Chang, and Pearl S. Buck, while also showcasing the voices of contemporary women in public life and their expansive and multifaceted emotions. As women begin to tell their own stories—whether documenting their own life experiences, rediscovering corners of history, or journeying into uncharted territories—they are venturing out of their rooms, bravely answering and practicing the question, "How will I live?"
