*Fallen Flowers in Full Bloom* is a collection of short stories by Osamu Dazai. Written during the tumultuous wartime period, Dazai stated in his essay "Over Fifteen Years": "I will not give up writing. Since it has come to this, I am determined to exert all my strength and see this business of writing novels through to the very end." This book contains 14 works. It includes "I-novels" that closely mirror the author's personal experiences, depicting Dazai's introspection and his psychological journey toward reconciling with his family. It also features dissatisfaction with and ridicule of the war, showcasing a clear anti-war stance.
