About Book
About Book
This book is a follow-up to "Children's Health Lectures", a book about how to improve mental health. It is adapted from the content of the six "Mental Health Topics" courses taught by Dr. Li Xin since 2015.
This book examines the causes of some of today's most common mental and psychological disorders, such as depression, neurasthenia, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. Based on patient and participant accounts, this book provides a question-and-answer format for on-site analysis. It also considers individual lifestyles, cognition, and energy levels, helping students clarify strategies for treatment and return to a healthy path. It also focuses on the impact of family and environment on children's physical and mental well-being, as well as the relationship between children's education and mental health. The author emphasizes that parents must cultivate their own mind and body, enhance mental stability and clarity, and cultivate their inner core in order to engage with their children at a high level.
Based on his own practical experience and learning experience, the author shares many mindfulness exercises that are beneficial to mental and physical health in the book, such as meditation and holistic view, to help us start by getting familiar with our own bodies, maintain independent observation and thinking, expand our connection with the world, step by step expand our spiritual world, and achieve comprehensive mental and physical health.
