I am a vocational school student.

This book is a collection of non-fiction essays on education, consisting of a preface by the author, 12 self-narrated accounts by interviewed students, and one self-narrated account by a vocational teacher. It presents the diverse life stories of teachers and students at a vocational college in northwestern China. The 12 interviewees in the book, like all young people in the prime of their lives, envision bright career prospects for themselves and hope for better personal lives: missed esports dreams, romantic relationships blurred in memory, a constant overflowing of physical memories of home in their words, the desire for a freer life instead of working in factories...
