Happy Chinese

The project "Research, Development, Publication of the third edition of *Happy Chinese* textbooks and Development of Supporting Resources" includes two parts: research, development, and publication of print textbooks, and development of supporting digital resources. The print textbooks comprise 9 titles in total: Level 1-3 student books, teacher books, and workbooks. The supporting resources include texts, audio, video, PPTs, e-books, etc. The Center for Language Education and Cooperation launched a tender for the "Research, Development, Publication of the third edition of *Happy Chinese* textbooks and Development of Supporting Resources" project through government procurement. The Chinese Language Department, in conjunction with the Audiovisual Department, participated in the bidding and successfully won the contract on November 21, 2022, with a bid amount of 7,491,080 CNY.
