In our kingdom, there is only night, not day. At dawn, our kingdom becomes invisible... Speaking of our kingdom's territory, it's actually pitifully small, no more than two or three hundred meters long and a few hundred meters wide, confined to a tiny patch of land surrounding the rectangular lotus pond in the New Park on Guanqian Road in Taipei City... Planted there are a tangled, overlapping mass of tropical trees: green corals, breadfruit trees, palm trees so old their hair is falling apart, and a row of royal palms, sighing and shaking their heads along the road.
