This is a book written by a mother and her daughter. They read over a dozen books together and discussed their experiences. Without lecturing or exhortation, it was a rich spiritual feast. These conversations were natural, frank, and unbiased. Neither side tried to convince the other, but rather, they engaged in a completely free and equal exchange, mutually inspiring yet independent.
The book discusses a wide range of topics, from life and death, people's cognition of themselves, their relationship with the world and others, to spiritual freedom, power and wealth, gender issues, sex and love... almost covering the basic propositions of our lives.
Reading allows us to see each other's world with different eyes; reading allows people to establish long-lasting and beautiful relationships with each other, and it is something we can do throughout our lives.
