Dream of Lima

A political science student, caught in a career crisis and facing the dilemmas of academics and life, fortuitously travels to Peru and joins a presidential candidate's campaign team, experiencing firsthand what it means to "do politics." In this journey, fragments of Peruvian and even Latin American history constantly resurface, and the author's textual knowledge and real-life experiences constantly collide, leading him to rethink questions about political practice, academic significance, and real life.
